THE BEACH
Praia de Alvor is quite a sandy beach composed of fine white sand. Walking here feels excellent on the feet. Praia de Alvor is also a significant and open beach stretching several kilometers. The water is clean and has a transparent color.
The magnificent strip of sand ensures that should you crave privacy, you will find it even in high summer.
THE ALVOR TOWN
Alvor is one of the finest resort towns of the Algarve and is the ideal destination for a relaxed, beach-based holiday. Historically, Alvor was a fortified town and fishing port, which today has developed responsibly into a charming and mature holiday destination.
The beautiful and charming Alvor town conserves most of its Moorish historic roots. It has a surprisingly large selection of restaurants, shops, and late-night bars, all in the pretty historic center. Alvor has a calm and welcoming ambiance and is a favorite with families during summer and retirees outside the peak months.
